Setting Up for Ranges demonstration.
Ranges.. Displays the Range requester used to define color ranges.
`Culler ranges r used 4 the Culler Sighcling, Gradient Fill & Shade functions.
Color ranges are used for the Color Cycling, Gradient Fill and Shade functions.
The keyboard equivalent to display the Range requester is, Control-r.
`This requester lets u spessify culler order & miksing 4 up 2 thirty 2 colors.
This requester lets you specify color order and mixing for up to 32 colors.
You can define 8 separate color ranges for a picture.
`Alt left & right bracket will move u back & forth through the set ranges.
Alt-[ & Alt-] will move you back and forth through the set ranges.
The next step in defining a range, is to select colors.
Just select a color from the palette row and click the left button.
`The pointer will now become a culler beed in the selected color.
The pointer will now become a color bead in the selected color.
Move the pointer to the range bar & place the color in a desired position.
`The position of cullers in the range bar controls sighcle& gradient direction.
The position of colors in the range bar controls cycle and gradient direction.
Use the bracket keyboard equivalents to select more range colors quickly.
The Show button, lets you see the gradient created by the colors.
This area always displays the gradient in HAM, for smoothness.
If you are not in HAM mode, a band appears above the Range requester.
This bands shows the actual gradient possible with the current Screen Format.
Setting this button causes the gradient to be dithered, or blended, randomly.
Additionally, Random must be selected to activate the dithering slider.
Otherwise, the gradient is dithered, using an ordered pattern.
To speed up operations while in the Range requester, turn SHOW off.
To remove a color from the range, click on it with the left button,
then click the empty area to the right or left of the range bar.
When you leave spaces in the range bar, colors will be added for you.
Now we will demonstrate some basic uses for this newly created range.
`In Sighcle mode, range colors sighcle as you paint with different tools.
In Cycle mode, range colors cycle as you paint with different tools.
The fill requester, accessed by clicking the Fill Tool with the right button,
or pressing Shift-f, lets you activate different gradient fill operations.

Now back to the range requester.
Reverse, flips the order of the colors on the range bar.
`Rate, sets the sighcling speed for the range, used when you press TAB.
Rate, sets the cycling speed for the range, used when you press TAB.
Clear, erases all colors from the range.
Un Do reverses the last change you made in the range requester.
Revert, returns the requester to the settings in place before it was displayed.
